Beta team that it. With the impending release of That Ghoul Ava Finds an Appetite for Deception, I have to put the polish on now and sand down the rough spots. That is where I rely on my Beta Team. You are my extra eyes. All the little things that I miss after my editing phase (and you might be surprised at how many it really is) often gets pointed out by you. So, I have a few, but I need 10. That means today is it. If you want to be part of this, then email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with AVA BETA TEAM in the subject header. (If you have already emailed, you don’t need to email again, I have you on my list.
Also, if you are part of the team, you will receive an email on Saturday (at the latest) telling you what our schedule is. As a bonus, you will get the first look at the cover when it is finished by my cover artist. Are you interested? Do you read and always spot the errors that slipped past? Well, I need you. Are you a BIG That Ghoul AVa fan? I often say that my readers know my stories better than I do. You might catch something that does not line up with the continuity of the story. In that case…I need you.
We begin on Monday, and I pick my team tonight. If you’ve never been a Beta Reader before, now is your chance. Also, I do things a bit different than many writers when it comes to how I work with my team. And no worries, I explain it all in the first email when I send you chapter one.
One last question…pre-order, or no pre-order. Do you like the idea of being able to order a book ahead of its release? I am curious.
