The new That Ghoul Ava is almost ready for human consumption. Her latest adventure, That Ghoul Ava Finds an Appetite for Deception is almost done. That means I need some fresh eyes to give a look and tell me if I missed anything (and I ALWAYS do). This is her 8th adventure if my memory serves me correctly. It is also perhaps one of her more serious ones. She is still the Ava you know, but if you have been riding along with her for a while, then you know things are starting to become less of a comedy and more about a story of the possibility of the Supernatural community being integrated into our own.
Sure, there are still the quips, and Ava will always have that degree of lovable sass you have come accustomed to, but I have actually been slowly (very slowly) developing a “deeper” story. All that said, Ava is still light reading. I write her to give me a break from all the bleak and horrible things found in a zombie apocalypse. Ava is what I do for my break.
I hope to have a cover reveal very soon, so stay tuned for that. Also, I have nicknamed this my “Scooby Doo” adventure. So, you can expect some callback lines from the classic animated show that I grew up with in the early 70s. Anyway, if you are interested in Beta Reading, then I need you to email me at email@example.com with “I WANT MY AVA NOW” in the subject line. Here is what I need from you: I need you to read the chapters as they come (probably two every day or every other day) and point out anything that doesn’t make sense or any typos or grammatical errors I missed during my own edits. Ideally, it would be the easiest for me if you copy and paste the section you are referring to, and then the suggested fix in the body of an email.
As always, I rely on you, my amazing Beta Readers, to make this a better book. So, email me if you are interested and I will be sending out an email on Friday to all my team members.
